Helsing AI Raises €450M for European Defense AI Applications
Munich-based Helsing AI has raised €450 million in one of the largest European AI funding rounds, valuing the defense-focused company at over €5 billion. The company develops AI systems for military surveillance, threat detection, and autonomous defense operations. The round was led by General Catalyst with participation from Spotify founder Daniel Ek. Helsing operates across Germany, France, and the UK with NATO-compliant security clearances.
